Description of the Damascus Steel: Material
(4) layers 5160, (3) layers 203E, (3) layers 52100, (3) layers 15N20 folded 5 times for 416 Damascus layers.

The seax, or sax, was the universally carried knife in Northern Europe. It was carried and used by the Saxons, Angles, Viking and Germanic tribes. Used during the fall of Rome on into the early Middle Ages.
