Fully functional tactical version of the ancient and effective cut and thrust Leaf blade shortsword. Leaf blade shaped swords are one of the earliest types of blade - first made in bronze and then later iron. Used as a backup weapon by the ancient Greeks, Spartans and Celts. In the modern era where opponents do not fight with spears or shields and most conflicts occur in confined spaces such as home invasions, this sword has enough length to keep most other weapons at bay but is short enough to be used even if being wrestled. The classic design is perfectly balanced between cutting, thrusting and hacking.
